Join Us for the Grand Opening of Our Post Falls Cancer Center

Summit Cancer Centers is very proud to announce the Grand Opening Celebration of our latest cancer center in Post Falls, ID.

The Grand Opening celebration will take place on Wednesday, March 23rd, from 5:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m. at 1641 East Polston Avenue, Suite 102 in Post Falls, ID. Enjoy refreshments, a display of artwork by cancer patients, and a ribbon cutting ceremony. Media tours will take place from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. We expect more than 200 physicians, healthcare professionals, patients and the public are expected to attend!

Dr. Brian Samuels, Dr. Naseer Ahmad, and Dr. Frank Lamm, each long established cancer specialists in North Idaho, will staff the new Post Falls Summit Cancer Centers clinic. Dr. Brian Samuels states, “Opening our state-of-the-art cancer center in Post Falls will offer patients in North Idaho access to expert cancer specialists and treatments without having to travel extensive distances.” Dr. Samuels continues by saying, “Our Center is conveniently located on the campus of Northwest Specialty Hospital. Summit provides easy access, with plenty of free parking for our patients and their families.” Dr. Frank Lamm says, “The new Post Falls facility will increase our ability to offer unique, multidisciplinary oncology treatments that deliver personalized cancer therapies, providing renewed hope to an even greater number of cancer patients in North Idaho. The Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, in conjunction with our cutting-edge clinical services, imaging and sophisticated diagnostic evaluations, allows us to bring to our patients the most up-to-date cancer treatments available.”

Summit Cancer Centers Post Falls provides a “one-stop” approach to patient care that includes a team of medical and radiation oncologists; experienced cancer care providers, such as nurse practitioners and pharmacists; and a radiation treatment center offering the most advanced Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator. The clinic will offer cancer diagnostic and treatment services, including comprehensive physician consultations, rapid second opinions, chemotherapy, diagnostic testing and complete lab services to effectively identify and treat cancer. Advanced imaging modalities, adjunctive therapies and support services will complement the comprehensive care Summit Cancer Centers provides for its patients, bringing those important elements of cancer care to the region. North Idaho patients will now have access to advanced treatment by participating in clinical trials for new medications and therapies offered at Summit Cancer Centers.

The Summit Cancer Centers Post Falls facility was built by the Young Construction Group of Idaho, Inc., and is located on the campus of Northwest Surgical Hospital in Post Falls, ID. The 11,000 square foot Cancer Center utilizes design techniques that improve the delivery of care and enhances patient experiences.
